Pen y Fan pond, February 2003.
Situated about 2 miles north of Croespenmaen, it was constructed in 1797, originally as a feeder for the Crumlin branch of the Monmouthshire canal. Used later as a water supply for the railways.
Approximately one mile in circumference, it is now a Country Park.
